Well, I did just rebuild my system with Ideneb 10.5.6 added my ATI 3450 and ran my ubuntu code dump with AppleHDAPatcherv1.20 and everything seems to work now. Try installing the Sigmatel audio driver in Vista compatibility mode on your system. I am including the Ubuntu text dump in this post. Ubuntu sound worked great on my system and I captured a dump of the codec then tried running it in my Hackintosh (10.5.3) using AppleHDAPatcher versions 1.15 up through 1.20 and still no luck getting sound to work.
